From your hotel to the departures hall
- 1Book with your hotel and timeEnter the hotel name, a map pin if you have one, and the time you want to leave. Add your flight number so we know your departure.
- 2The driver arrives at your hotelHe comes to the pick-up point at the agreed time, helps with the luggage and checks the address.
- 3About 50 minutes to the airportA direct drive to Phuket International Airport, with no other passengers and no stops unless you ask.

When to leave Phuket Town for your flight
The drive is about 50 minutes in normal traffic. A common recommendation is to be at the airport about 3 hours before an international departure. That is general advice, not a promise from us, and your airline's own check-in rules come first. Add the drive and a margin for the town traffic and you get a simple rule: set the pick-up about 4 hours before an international flight.
For a domestic flight, check how early your airline wants you at check-in and count back from that, using the same 50 minutes for the road. If you want more room, ask for an earlier pick-up. The driver adjusts to the time you give.
Do not plan the morning to the minute. A slow breakfast, a lift that takes its time and a street that fills with traffic can each eat ten minutes.
How the hotel pick-up works
When you book, give the hotel name, a map pin and your flight time. The driver arrives at the agreed time, helps with the bags and checks the address with you. Then he drives straight to the airport with no other passengers and no stops unless you ask.
Phuket Town's old quarter has narrow streets, and a car cannot always stop right at the door. If it cannot, the driver waits at the nearest point and you walk a short way with the bags. A pin sent in advance keeps that point obvious for both of you.
Streets and days to plan around
Thalang Road and Soi Romanee are closed to traffic on Sunday afternoon for the walking street. If you sleep on either, meet the driver on a street just outside the closure and tell him which one when you book.
During the Vegetarian Festival, which falls in the ninth Chinese lunar month, usually from late September to early October, processions can close streets in the town. Check the dates for your trip, allow extra time and send an exact pin.
On 24 December to 5 January a holiday surcharge of 400 THB per car applies. Otherwise the table price is final.
Which car for the ride to the airport
Departing luggage tends to be heavier than arriving luggage, because of souvenirs. Choose the car by the bags you will actually carry.
- Sedan, up to 3 passengers with luggage: 999 THB.
- SUV / MPV, up to 4 passengers with luggage: 1,199 THB.
- Minibus, up to 9 passengers with luggage: 1,499 THB.
- VIP Minibus, up to 8 passengers in a premium cabin: 1,999 THB.
When in doubt on bags, go up one size.
What to have ready on the morning
Pack the night before. Keep passports, tickets and the booking message in your hand bag, because the big cases go in the boot and are not reachable on the way. Check out before the pick-up time, not at it, so the driver does not wait while the bill is settled.
If your flight time changes, send us the new time as soon as you know it, so the pick-up time can be set again. Keep the hotel name and the pin ready to read out in case the driver rings from the street.
Early flights and late nights
The service runs 24/7, so a pick-up at 3 am for a 6 am flight is a normal booking. The price is the same at any hour. Let the hotel know you are leaving early so the bill is settled the evening before. You pay nothing on the morning itself: payment is taken when you book, by Visa, Mastercard or PayPal.
The car stops at the departures hall of your terminal, close to check-in. The Gate 2 and Gate A meeting points apply to arrivals, so they are for the trip in the other direction.
Questions about this transfer
How early should I leave Phuket Town for an international flight?
The drive is about 50 minutes. Arriving about 3 hours before an international departure is a common recommendation, so a pick-up around 4 hours before the flight is a sensible plan. Follow your airline's own check-in advice.
Will the driver come to my hotel in the Old Town?
Yes, to the hotel or the nearest point a car can reach if the street is narrow or closed. Send the hotel name and a map pin when you book.
Can I book a pick-up for 3 am?
Yes. The service runs 24/7 and the price does not change by the hour.
What if my hotel is on Thalang Road on a Sunday?
The road is closed to traffic on Sunday afternoon and evening. Tell us when you book and the driver will meet you at a nearby street that is open.
We are five adults going home with souvenirs. Which car do we need?
Five passengers is too many for the SUV / MPV, which takes up to 4. Book the minibus at 1,499 THB, which carries up to 9 passengers with luggage and leaves room for the extra bags.
Where does the taxi drop me at the airport?
At the departures hall of your terminal, close to the check-in desks.
