Prices are per vehicle in Thai baht and include fuel, tolls and the airport pick-up. The number of passengers does not change the price, only the car you need does.

Which car for a three-hour drive
Over 165 km a tight car gets uncomfortable, so choose with some room to spare. The price follows the car, not the number of people in it.
- Sedan, 4,599 THB: up to 3 passengers with luggage. Fine for a couple with two suitcases.
- SUV / MPV, 4,899 THB: up to 4 passengers with luggage. The sensible pick for a family of four, or three people with a lot of bags.
- Minibus, 5,399 THB: up to 9 passengers with luggage, for a larger group on the same flight.
- VIP Minibus, 6,399 THB: up to 8 passengers in a premium cabin, for people who want to sleep or work on the way.
Krabi is a place people go to climb and dive, and sports bags take more space than suitcases. Count them as luggage when you choose the car.
The road from the airport to Krabi
The airport is in the north of Phuket, so this trip leaves the island straight away. The car follows Highway 402 north to the Sarasin Bridge, which links Phuket with Phang Nga province on the mainland. After the bridge the road becomes Highway 4 and runs across Phang Nga, with limestone cliffs along the way.
The last part of the journey goes through Ao Luek and into Krabi province. Krabi Town lies a little further on. The whole trip takes about 2 hours 40 minutes in normal traffic, and any stop for food or a break is added to that.

Krabi Town, Ao Nang or the airport
The prices on this page are for Krabi Town. The town sits on the west bank of the Krabi River, among mangroves, and the twin limestone hills of Khao Khanab Nam stand over the water. Longtail boats leave from the town piers.
Ao Nang and Railay are different places. Ao Nang is a beach resort area on the coast, and Railay is reached by boat, not by road. If your hotel is outside the town, send its name before you book so the destination is confirmed.
Krabi Airport is a separate destination in the booking form. It is 145 km from Phuket airport, about 2 hours, at 3,999 THB for a sedan, 4,299 THB for an SUV or MPV, 4,999 THB for a minibus and 5,999 THB for a VIP minibus. It is the right choice if you are catching a flight from there, not going to the town.
Arriving late, and holiday dates
The service runs 24/7 and the driver tracks your flight number. A landing at 10 pm still gets you a car, but the drive then ends well after midnight. Ask your Krabi hotel about late check-in before you travel, and give them your expected arrival time.
