What is inside the price
Fuel, tolls and the airport pick-up are in the figure, so there is nothing to add for the 43 km to Karon. The driver meets you at Gate 2 next to Exit 2 for international flights, or at Gate A for domestic ones, and follows your flight number. If the plane is late, the booking stays in place.
You pay when you book, by Visa, Mastercard or PayPal. Fast Track at the airport is an optional extra that works on arrival only.
Why traffic does not change it
The route to Karon runs from Highway 402 through the bypass road and Chalong Circle, and an afternoon queue at any of those points does not move the price. A longer wait at baggage claim does not either. The number of passengers is not part of the calculation. Only the size of the car is.

Always compare cars, not headcounts. If a group is one passenger over a car's limit, the next size up is the answer, and the next size usually costs far less than a second car. Two sedans would come to 1,998 THB, which is more than a minibus at 1,499 THB.
The holiday surcharge, worked out
