What is inside the price
Fuel and tolls are in the price, so there is nothing to add on the road. So is the pick-up at the airport: the driver waits at Gate 2 next to Exit 2 if you land on an international flight, or at Gate A for a domestic one. He tracks your flight number, which means a delayed landing does not cancel the transfer.
You pay when you book, by Visa, Mastercard or PayPal. Fast Track at the airport is optional and works on arrival only.
Why Kamala costs the same as Patong
Kamala is 27 km from the airport. Patong is 40 km, Karon 43 km and Kata Beach 46 km. They all share one price list, so the sedan price to every one of them is 999 THB.
The resort transfers are priced as one group rather than kilometre by kilometre, so a shorter run to Kamala does not come with a smaller number. What you get for the same money is a quicker trip: about 49 minutes, against 65 for Patong.
Only the long runs have their own prices, such as Khao Lak or Krabi. Find any of them on the price list.
Matching the car to your luggage
Because the price follows the car size, the real question is what fits. Seats are only half of it.
- Two people, two cases and a daypack each: a sedan at 999 THB.
- Three people with large suitcases: still a sedan, but only if the cases are modest. Heavy luggage is the usual reason to go up a size.
- Four adults: the SUV / MPV at 1,199 THB.
- Seven people: the minibus at 1,499 THB. Two cars would cost more.
- Eight people who want a premium cabin: the VIP minibus at 1,999 THB.
When you are on the edge of a limit, take the next size up. It is cheaper than finding out at the kerb that the boot is full.
When the price goes up
Two things change the figure. The first is the car, as in the table above. The second is the calendar: trips on 24 December to 5 January carry a holiday surcharge of 400 THB per car.
For those dates a sedan costs 1,399 THB, an SUV or MPV 1,599 THB, a minibus 1,899 THB and a VIP minibus 2,399 THB. Anything outside that window uses the normal table. Time of landing does not alter the price.
Checking the quote against other options

For the car. The sedan is 999 THB with one passenger or three. Passenger numbers do not change the price, the car size does.
